His new mixtape entitled “Decided” came out on 7 September, and reached #9 on the Billboard 200. To mark the end of 2018, he released his mixtape “Realer” on 20 December.

In September 2019, YoungBoy was put under house arrest for 14 months, after he violated his probation period, but has continued to make music at home. He released his new single “House Arrest Tingz” on 25 September, and on 4 October another single, “Bandit” featuring the rapper Juice Wrld, and it peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. His next mixtape “Al YoungBoy 2” came out on 10 October and it topped the Billboard 200, which has to this day remained YoungBoy’s best charting position.

Concurrently, Dwayne played Mitch Buchannon in Seth Gordon’s 2017 comedy “Baywatch”, followed by his portrayals of Davis Okoye in the sci-fi monster film “Rampage”, and Will Sawyer in the action “Skyscraper”, both in 2018. He also portrayed himself in the 2019 comedy “Fighting With My Family”. It is announced that Dwayne willbe featuredin several upcoming film titles, including “Jungle Cruise”, “The King”, and “Doc Savage”, among others.

Career as a Producer

In addition to his acting career, Dwayne is also a producer. Since he established his own production company called Seven Bucks Productions, back in 2012, Dwayne has produced a number of successful film titles, such as “Snitch”, “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”, “Baywatch”, “Rampage”, etc.

Other Projects

Dwayne Johnson wrote his autobiographical book entitled “The Rock Says”, and published it in 2000, topping The New York Times Best Seller list. He also served as a producer and host of the TNT reality show “The Hero” in 2013, then in the following year hosted another TNT reality show – “Wake Up Call”. In 2019, he started hosting his own competitive sports show “The Titan Games” on NBC. Dwayne also announced that he is currently working on the bodybuilding show entitled “Athleticon”, along with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, set to be released in late 2020.
