Her father who worked as a swimming-pool salesperson and her mother worked as an agent care provider, always supported her decision of pursuing an acting career. She was raised along with her two older sisters in the suburb of Eden Hills. Sarah received her primary education from St John’s Grammar School located in Belair. She then went to Scotch College after winning a scholarship to study drama. After that, she did graduation with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art.
Career – In 2009, Sarah commenced her acting career with Bevan Lee’s medical drama All Saints where she appeared as Sophie in just an episode of the series. In the next year, she secured the main role of Lorna Whyte in the TV film Sisters of Wars which was based on the lives of two Australian women who survived as prisoners in Papua New Guinea during world war II.
