Mider, Archie, Martinez headline 2024 BCIAA boys track and field team (2024)

Three state champions, all seniors, headline this year’s Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association boys track and field all-star team.

The all-star team is voted on by BCIAA coaches.

Berks Catholic’s Brady Mider, Muhlenberg’s Kyle Archie and Schuylkill Valley’s Luke Martinez each won a championship at the PIAA Track and Field Championship over Memorial Day weekend at Shippensburg University.

Mider, the two-time state Class 3A shot put champion who will attend the University of Iowa, was voted as the Athlete of the Year for this track and field season by the coaches.

Archie, in his first year of competition, won the high jump in Class 3A and Martinez won the Class 2A pole vault at the state meet.
