Ensemo GmbH brings microbes into seeds. Rhizobia products survive longer when applied via #SeedInjection technology compared to coatings. With Ensemo GmbH's #SeedInjection technology a positive effect on nodulation efficacy can be observed when seeds are stored over a period of 16 weeks.

Today we have the pleasure to introduce to you Nicolas Gerstenmayer, Ensemo GmbH’s mechanical engineer. He is responsible for the technical development of Ensemo GmbH’s industrial prototypes which bring microbes into seed. Furthermore, he contributes with his expertise to the industrial scaleup of Ensemo GmbH’s #SeedInjection technology for the implementation to industrial settings. In close collaboration with our biology team, he converts the biological requirements into mechanical concepts.Nicolas studied mechatronics and robotics at the University of Applied Sciences, FH Technikum Wien. Furthermore, he is a trained mechanical engineer as he graduated from HTL St. Pölten. He is a passionate technician and loves searching for mechanical solutions to complex multidisciplinary tasks. “It motivates me to create something new with courage and perseverance”, he explains his engagement.Apart from work, Nicolas serves the community as a volunteer at Red Cross and the local volunteer fire brigade. #MeetTheTeam: Today we have the pleasure to introduce to you Marija Gumze. As Ensemo GmbH senior agronomist she is responsible for planning and executing plant assays such as field and greenhouse trials as well as assays in climate chambers.Hailing from a family farm, Marija's early experiences cultivated her love for agriculture. She performs her work with great dedication, and nobody can deny that she has green fingers. During last season, she even supplied the Ensemo GmbH team with large quantities of giant eggplants, tomatoes and extremely hot peppers from the greenhouse.Marija Gumze is a seasoned professional in agrotechnology, blending her expertise with passion for innovation. Armed with a master’s degree in arable farming from the University of Osijek, Croatia, she further refined her skills and knowledge during her career which spans over a decade. Working in international companies, Marija gained deep insight into the industry, and it reflects her dedication to advancing agricultural practices.
